Beyond its lifesaving duties, the club is deeply involved in the community, offering junior surf programs, lifeguard training programs, beach education, and fostering a spirit of volunteerism. The club's facilities, located at 25 Dune Crescent, Invercargill, provide essential amenities for its members and are integral to its operations.
reti Beach itself is renowned for its scenic beauty and recreational opportunities, attracting swimmers, surfers, and families year-round. The beach also holds cultural and historical significance as the training ground of local legend Burt Munro, whose world-record-breaking motorcycling achievements helped place Invercargill on the global map.
